The 3-mile loop and 1-mile stroll will begin and conclude at Bluemont Park in Arlington. Dogs are invited to accompany their owners but, for their safety, cats and other pets should be left at home. There will also be plenty of pre- and post- Walk events. We hope that you will come out and show your support for the animals in our community by being part of this year’s Walk.

Here’s what you can do:

-WALK THE WALK. The success of this event depends on the number of people who participate and collect pledges. Because this is a pledge walk, it is important to ask friends, co-workers and neighbors to sponsor you. A registration fee of $25 is required for each pre-registered walker and walkers will receive a t-shirt and bandana. In addition, special prizes will be given to the top pledge earners.

-FORM A TEAM. Teams are designed for businesses, clubs, churches, neighborhoods, schools, etc. We invite you to form a team of 6 or more and collectively raise funds to benefit homeless animals. Adult teams are required to raise a minimum of $500 and and kid teams are required to raise a minimum of $75. Special prizes will go to the top pledge-earning team and the largest team!
